A total of 1,208,160 children between 3 and 11 years of age received their first COVID jab in Argentina already, as informed by the Ministry of Health.

The first two million vaccines for paediatric use arrived between October 10 and 11, and were provided by the Chinese laboratory Sinopharm.

Minister Carla Vizzotti anticipated that "in the case of minors, the gap between the first and second dose will be less than one month because there are no problems with the supply".
