New Argentina sounds

"Hong Kong".

This is a band from Mar del Plata with more than 20 years of experience. They have been venturing into new territories following various releases featuring a power trio sound, displaying virtuosity in their performances. Their lyrics are inspired by Argentina's history. They embody this concept in albums such as "Histeria argentina" ( 2013 ) or "Justicialista volumen 1" ( 2017 ).

"Hong Kong" is a preview of the album "Justicialista 2" that will be released progressively online as from August 2021. This track is particular because is the first without any guitar in it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

La Maurette
"Forajida".

Victoria Maurette is a 39-year actress from Buenos Aires who also performs music. She started her career when she was very young in a very famous local TV show called "Rebelde Way". "Forajida" (meaning "outlaw") is her new single, a song dedicated to people who feel they speak truths that nobody wants to hear.

A song with R&B and hip hop colors that is a preview of her third album, a follow-up of her record of her own songs,"Victoria" released in 2009 and the album of covers "Get together" (2019).

 

 

 

 

 

Moxa
"La inflación" (Inflation)

Moxa is a very special BA City trio that so far only released one EP and three singles in advance of their first album. "La inflación" is the most recent one, following "Un monje en el 1200 ( revelando lo verdadero) - A monk in the year 1200 (revealing what's truthful)" and "Buda".

Founded by Paola Maiorana and Julian Amos Gancberg on vocals and synthesizers and drummer Martin Freiberg, Moxa handles a good amount of influences that are reflected in a sound of fierce eclecticism that includes local rock, jazz and contemporary music. They are produced by the talented bassist and songwriter Mariano Otero.
