Argentine-made Covid vaccine RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Volunteers called for tests

The Argentine Covid vaccine begins to be mass tested with volunteers.

This Monday, the call for 2014 people to submit themselves to the test was opened.

The jab is called ARVAC Cecilia Grierson in honor of the first woman who graduated as a physician in Argentina at the end of the 19th century.

It is a joint project of the National University of San Martín, the Cassará laboratory and CONICET, the highest scientific entity in Argentina.

To participate in the trials it is a requirement to be over 18 years of age and to have received at most "a booster dose at least four months ago".

It is expected that in two or three months results will be in to request the approval of the vaccine in Argentina.
