Deadliest outbreak of the virus ever RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Dengue deaths hit 35 in Argentina

There have now been 35 deaths from dengue fever in Argentina, a record for an outbreak in the country of this disease transmitted by the Aedes Aegypti mosquito.

In the last few hours the first two deaths were recorded in the city of Buenos Aires, two men aged 73 and 76 respectively.

Health sources reported that in the last seven days there has been an increase of almost 50 per cent in the number of infections, with some 40,000 confirmed cases in the country.

In this context, it is expected that the fall temperatures will improve the epidemiological situation, as the heat favors the proliferation of mosquitoes.
