EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

President Alberto Fernandez spoke on Radio Nacional Rock

Mr Fernández spoke with host Mex Urtizberea and journalist Matías Mowszet, on the programme "El Mañana" that is aired on Radio Nacional Rock FM. This was his first interview since announcing last Friday that he will not run for re-election and that he will focus 100% on improving the lives of all Argentines.

He spoke about inflation and asserted that informal workers are the most affected by it. However, he clarified that "formal salaries do not lose with inflation" and that there are "102 wage-bargaining processes throughout the country that work as a correction system" for inflation.

In this sense, he urged to work for the informal sectors that do not have these mechanisms and to regulate the underground economy.

With regard to economic problems, he also said that "many of Argentina's problems will be solved when we finish building the gas pipeline and start exporting, dollars will start pouring in. It will be finished between 20 June and 9 July".
