Science Minister Daniel Filmus signed a cooperation agreement with his Vietnamese counterpart Huynh Thanh Dat.

The agreement includes joint initiatives in various fields, such as renewable energy, biotechnology, nuclear medicine, digitalisation and artificial intelligence.

It also establishes academic exchange in the areas of space and satellite development.

Filmus and Dat inked the agreement during a meeting at the Polo Científico Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.

The Vietnamese minister arrived in the country with a delegation headed by the president of the Assembly of the Asian country: Vuong Dinh-Hue.
