Dictatorship-era Human Rights violations RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Top company manager arrested

A former executive of one of Argentina's leading food companies was arrested for crimes against humanity.

Emilio Parodi was human resources’ head at Molinos Río de La Plata during the military dictatorship of the late 1970s.

He was arrested by court order as part of an investigation into human rights violations between 1976 and 1983.

Parodi is accused of being responsible for handing over Molinos employees to the military.

These workers were kidnapped and tortured, and many of them remain missing to this day.
