Economy Minister promises to eliminate income tax

The Minister of Economy Sergio Massa promised that if he is elected president he will eliminate the income tax for salaried workers.

The ruling party's candidate even hinted that the measure could be adopted before the 22 October elections.

In an interview with the C5N channel, Massa affirmed: "if I am president, workers will not pay income tax".

It is worth mentioning that for many employees, the raises they receive to compensate for the 100% annual inflation are absorbed by this tax, hence the intention to abolish it.
