Inauguration on December 10 RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

President-elect Milei reveals first steps

President-elect Javier Milei began to reveal some of his government's measures in several interviews he gave on Monday.

The libertarian ratified that he will seek to shut down the Central Bank and move forward with his plan to dollarize Argentina, which he had presented during the campaign.

He will also promote the privatization of state-ran media: public TV, the news agency Télam and Radio Nacional, the network to which this station, RAE, belongs.

Regarding oil company YPF, Milei said that his administration will seek to "recompose it" and then "sell it at a beneficial price for the Argentine people".

On the other hand, regarding Aerolíneas Argentinas, the president-elect informed that he will give the company to its workers "so that they can manage it".

The objective, the economist explained, is to compete with other airlines without state support under an open skies policy.

As the hours go by, more names of the cabinet that will accompany Milei as from December 10 are being defined.

It was already known that Diana Mondino would be the Foreign Minister while Guillermo Francos would be the Minister of the Interior.

It was also known that Nicolás Posse would be Cabinet Chief.

Today Mariano Cúneo Libarona was announced as Minister of Justice while Carolina Píparo, former BA province gubernatorial hopeful, will head the ANSES Social Security Agency.
