To meet with Netanyahu RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

President Milei arrives in Israel

Argentine President Javier Milei arrives in Israel, first stop of a tour that includes Italy.

He left Buenos Aires yesterday aboard a regular Ita Airways flight.

Before taking off, he expressed to reporters his support and solidarity with Israel "in the face of the attacks by the Hamas terrorist group".

Official sources anticipated that, during his three-day stay, Mr Milei will meet with his counterpart Isaac Herzog, as well as with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In addition, he will visit the Holocaust Museum and the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, where -let us remember- he promised to move the Argentine embassy.

That diplomatic seat will be headed by Rabbi Axel Wahnish, who is accompanying the President on this trip.

The Argentine leader will also go to the Nir Oz Kibbutz, in southern Israel, where many of the Hamas hostages were kidnapped, and will speak with their families.

The official tour will continue in Rome, where he will meet with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

The itinerary concludes at the Vatican, where the Head of State will have an audience with Pope Francis.

The meeting will take place after attending the canonization ceremony of the first Argentine saint: "Mama Antula".
