The match in Rio started half an hour late due to the brutal repression of Argentine fans by the Military Police.

The players themselves approached the stands to stop the violence of the uniformed officers.

In view of the situation, Messi said: "we’re not playing with this going on" and his teammates followed him to the dressing room.

After the match, coach Lionel Scaloni also hinted that he might not continue in charge of the National Team for reasons that he did not clarify.
