Over 400 dead in war RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Argentines evacuated from Sudan

Argentine Embassies in Africa and the Middle East are coordinating efforts to evacuate citizens from Sudan, due to the crisis in that country.

The embassies in Egypt, Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia are in charge of assisting Argentines in that conflict-thorn region.

A bloody civil war in Sudan has so far left some 400 people dead and caused a deep humanitarian crisis.

Buenos Aires reported yesterday that two Argentine nationals managed to leave Sudanese territory, thanks to the assistance of the Spanish embassy.

A third national was evacuated by land to Ethiopia, with the support of the International Red Cross, according to official sources.
