Argentina's Chief of Staff Nicolás Posse is on an official visit to the United States.

In this context, yesterday he met in Washington with the Undersecretary of International Affairs of the US Treasury, Jay Shambaugh.

According to Casa Rosada, they discussed reforms promoted by Javier Milei's government, as well as several issues of the bilateral agenda.

Posse also met in the U.S. capital with the number two of the International Monetary Fund, Gita Gopinath.

The meeting took place while the IMF decides whether to release a disbursement of US$ 4.7 billion for the country.
