"Make society fall in love with government again" - VP RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

CFK talks about 2023 vote

Vice-President CFK said that the important thing for the ruling party in this year's elections is to enter the run-off.

The former President assured these elections will be atypical because voters will be divided "in thirds".

According to her, one is the Frente de Todos, of which she is a member, another is the opposition coalition Juntos por el Cambio, and the third is the so-called "libertarians".

She described the latter as representing "angry" voters.

She spoke on a TV programme, in the first interview she gives in six years.

In this context, she reiterated that she will not be a candidate for the presidency this year.

In any case, she assured that as a political leader she will work this year so that "the best thing that can happen to Argentines happens to them".

According to her, the next generation is "the one that must take the lead now".

In her appearance, which generated record ratings for channel C5N , the former president once again criticized the Supreme Court.

"It seems that they are going to dare to do anything," she said of the ruling that suspended elections in San Juan and Tucumán, provinces where the polls pointed to a Peronist victory.

She also praised Economy Minister Sergio Massa for taking charge of the portfolio at a complicated time, in 2022.
