The new president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, announced that his first official trip will be to Argentina.

The former student leader expressed: "we want it to be not only symbolic, but to be translated into concrete collaborations".

Mr Boric anticipated that his visit - for which he did not give a date - will aim at reinforcing cultural as well as commercial exchange.

And he added: "we have a lot to learn from each other".
