RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Coronavirus infections in Argentina have been decreasing for 100 days

The current contagion average is fewer than 3,400 cases and 130 deaths per day. 2,172 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU), one of the lowest levels in over a year.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health reported on Friday that "for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, the Virology Laboratory of the Posadas National Hospital did not detect any new case of COVID-19 on Thursday".

According to official sources, this downward trend in infections, hospital admissions and deaths related is the result "of the vaccination rollout , which has already reached 63 percent of the total population with at least one dose and 39 percent with two jabs".
