Four soldiers died after their truck fell off a cliff

Four Argentine soldiers were killed when the truck in which they were traveling fell off a cliff.

In addition, 18 service people were injured, according to the Army.

The accident occurred six kilometers from San Martín de los Andes, in the province of Neuquén, in northern Argentine Patagonia.

The victims belonged to the IV Mountain Cavalry Regiment.

The deceased names are: Corporal Cristian González; Corporal Martín Román; and volunteer soldiers Oscar Morales and Guadalupe Canuillan, military sources informed.

They were returning to their barracks after a training exercise at Lake Lolog.

Due to circumstances under investigation, the vehicle derailed and fell from a height of 15 meters.
