Angel Floreano RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

Historic RAE's speaker dies

Broadcaster and teacher Ángel Floreano died

It is with deep sadness that the workers and authorities of Radio Nacional Argentina bid farewell to one of our colleagues, who passed away this morning.

As a broadcasting teacher, he trained generations of broadcasters that nowadays work in Argentine radio and TV.

Passionate about radio, his unmistakable deep voice could be heard over the years on various stations.

He worked as a broadcaster and newswriter in Radio Splendid, Excelsior, El Mundo, Mitre, Antártida, Continental, Argentina and Radio del Pueblo, as well as in several FM stations.

A great interviewer, his reports and news were translated and aired on the eight languages of Radiodifusión Argentina al Exterior.

Newscasters remember his neat pieces. His last job was at RAE, where he hosted the Spanish-language program.

In 2018, Ángel retired to enjoy quality time with his loved ones. Those who accompanied him until the end were broadcaster and journalist Sandra Prado, and their daughter Guadalupe Aída.

Ángel Floreano will remain forever in the sound memories of our radio station.
