The Argentine city of Mendoza, capital of the province of the same name, made it to the top 10 best tourist cities in Latin America.
It was ranked number 6 in the continental ranking prepared by the specialized magazine Travel + Leisure.
According to the publication, Mendoza "is consolidated as a destination that captivates with its tranquility and natural beauty, its wine-growing landscapes and the majestic mountain range".
Buenos Aires, meanwhile, ranks fifth in the "Favorite cities of Central and South America" ranking of the World's Best Awards.
The regional list is headed by Cusco, Peru, followed by Cartagena, Colombia.
The results come from the vote of more than 685,000 Travel + Leisure readers.
