WEEK 13 RAE ARGENTINA TO THE WORLD

New Argentina sounds

Juku Ares

Nuestros ("Ours")

This is the solo debut of the very talented musician and producer Julián Ares, aka Juku. At only 28 years old he already had a 6-year tenure in the band Nidos, and recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studio in London. They released 3 albums before splitting up in 2019. Here's a brilliant production, resulting in a crystalline song that signals a very promising future.

Silvestre y la Naranja
Supersticiones ("Superstitions")

"Supersticiones" is the word chosen by the band Silvestre y la Naranja to name their fourth album and first single. Featuring guests Goyo Degano from Bandalos Chinos and Ainda Duo's Esmeralda Escalante, here's a tune with a warm sound that blends funk and soul. In their 10-year career, Silvestre have already shared the stage with renowned international artists such as Jake Bugg, Father John Misty, Calexico and Adam Green.

Piscis Machine
"Al fin" (At Last)

Piscis Machine is a very good electronic pop duo integrated by Gustavo Buchiniz and Agustin Della Croce. Featuring an 80's sound that suggests retro-futuristic landscapes they have released only one full album ( "Espejismo" in 2018 ) and a handful of singles. "Al fin" is a preview of the second one and features talented Mendoza native Mariano Peccinetti from Las Luces Primeras as guest on guitars.
